Alpha Girlz is Mountain Forge's advanced wrestling club specifically designed for girls, junior high school through high school wrestlers. High expectations, elite training partners, and coaching built for how female wrestlers train, recover, compete, and perform.
Girls were long expected to follow training built for boys. Female athletes develop, recover, and fuel differently. Alpha Girlz is designed around those realities.
Our girls
Making weight should never cost performance or long-term health. We teach our girls to fuel for training, competition, and recovery, and to manage weight the healthy way.
Mobility, recovery, breathwork, sleep, and mindset keep our girls healthy and steady through a long season.
Strength, nutrition, recovery, and confidence are connected. We coach the whole athlete, so our girls grow on the mat and off it.
Girls wrestling is the fastest growing high school sport in the country. In 2024 to 2025 it passed 74,000 athletes for the first time, a 15 percent jump in a single year, and close to 1,000 schools added a program.
A decade ago fewer than 12,000 girls wrestled, and most had no choice but to train and compete against boys. Today more than 74,000 do, and 40 states crown their own girls champions. At the junior high level, plenty of girls are still on the mat with the boys.
Fifty years in the sport as a competitor and a coach opens doors most clubs can't. From big events with backstage passes and meet-and-greets to elite wrestlers coming into the room to train our girls.

Mountain Forge is a program of The Heallist Foundation. Through donor-funded scholarships and subsidized memberships, we help remove financial barriers so more girls can train, compete, and grow.
Our girls also gain access to recovery, mobility, breathwork, nutrition education, and mindset training that carries beyond the wrestling room.
If cost is a barrier, reach out. Opportunity should come down to commitment and effort, not finances.
The best way to know Alpha Girlz is to spend a night in the room. Your first practice is on us. Bring wrestling shoes and a willingness to work, and we'll take care of the rest.

Coach Carmen brings more than thirty years in wrestling to the Alpha Girlz room, first as a national-level competitor and then as a coach who has developed champions across the sport. He coaches with honest feedback and high standards, and he pushes each athlete to reach what she is capable of.
